Are you using Infrared (IR) heaters?

Although they heat areas quickly and efficiently, many organisations still operate their IR heaters with manual buttons or timed switches.

HeatingSave solves this issue by controlling IR heaters, turning them on when they’re needed, and only for as long as needed.

The same HeatingSave system can also control air conditioning, central heating boilers, and destratification fans, to give you full control over your building.

This gives better comfort for occupants, frees up staff from manual operation, and contributes to energy efficiency across the site.

The HeatingSave smart building management system can efficiently run any building and cut costs while maintaining a comfortable level of heating.

At the heart of HeatingSave is a state-of-the-art microprocessor connected to temperature sensors that measure external, room and boiler temperatures.

This short video shows how the system works – but to see how HeatingSave can work for your premises contact us for a demo: https://www.heatingsave.co.uk/book-demo.

The HeatingSave heating diary/heating pattern function allows a heating schedule to be planned around your operational hours to avoid unnecessary energy usage. The diary can be set months or even years in advance, so the heating system knows when your premises is occupied and when it's not - meaning no wasted energy.

A boiler on a primary circuit can only output hot water flow at one temperature, set manually on the boiler itself, which in most cases will be too high to satisfy heat demand by the equipment that needs it.
CT and VT valves are a method of reducing the boiler flow temperature for heating circuits that need to run at a lower temperature to satisfy low heat demand – and when CT/VT valves are controlled by building management systems such as HeatingSave, they also help to reduce energy costs by maximising energy saving and reducing fuel costs.

DID YOU KNOW? Turning up the thermostat does not heat your building faster.

The thermostat controls the temperature you want to reach, not how fast it gets there. No matter the set temperature, the heating system heats up at the same rate.

You can use thermostatic radiator valves to help rooms remain at the desired temperature. Thermostatic radiator valves can be used to split rooms or areas into individual heating zones, meaning that heating can be turned on in occupied areas and turned off in unoccupied areas.

HeatingSave is proud to have several systems included on the Energy Technology List (ETL), a scheme backed by the UK Government highlighting products that have met a robust set of criteria and are in the top 25% of the market for energy efficiency in their class.
With over 8,000 listed products and 62 sub-technologies the ETL is one of the world’s largest databases of top performing energy-efficient products.
The ETL is backed by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ), who annually review the qualifying technologies and systems, which ensures the list is up-to-date and enables consumers to easily browse and compare the very best energy efficient solutions – which in turn helps UK businesses and the public to make greener energy choices.

5 ways your business could save on energy bills

• Reduce heat loss – find out where your office loses the most heat and modify the environment accordingly.
• Control lighting in unused rooms – simple but effective, with noticeable savings; use LED lighting for additional savings.
• Manage heating according to occupancy – no need to heat empty rooms so switch it off if no-one’s there.
• Fit thermostatic radiator valves (TRVs) – each radiator can be heated individually as required.
• Monitor your energy use – find out accurate data about your energy usage and see when you use the most energy.

HeatingSave can help with all of these! Our heat loss algorithm calculates a heat loss profile, occupancy sensors control lighting, the Room Booking System manages heating based on room use, our wired TRVs are highly reliable and convenient, and our web-based FairUsage Energy Management System lets you monitor everything from your smartphone. Not only that, but it can monitor and help to reduce your carbon output too!
