PHONE LINES - NOW WORKING

once again we apologise for any inconvenience caused to our patients.

PHONE LINES UPDATE

We have managed to divert to a mobile phone. This means we only have one incoming line to the practice. So only one call can be dealt with at a time.

PLEASE RESTRICT YOUR CALLS TO URGENT SAME DAY ONLY - until the phone lines are back up and running. This allows the emergency same day calls to get through, meaning we are dealing with the really poorly patients who need to be seen.

PLEASE COULD YOUR CALLS AS SHORT AS POSSIBLE - to allow as many people to get through as possible.

ALMOND ROAD SURGERY - PHONE LINES.

hi everyone, sorry to have to inform you that our phone lines are playing up again as we have issues with our broadband. As our phone system is cloud based we are reliant on a working broadband. Currently our broadband has a mind of its own and we are awaiting BT to come out and fix it.

In the meantime due to patients are having problems getting through we have set up the following.

1: all incoming calls have been automatically diverted to a mobile. So please ring the usual number to get through, the only difference is at our end. This sadly means only 1 call can get through at any time. We will try to turn calls around as fast as we can so we ask patients to keep their calls length to a minimum, short and sweet please. thank you

2: if you have a query or question that can be answered by email you can email the surgery on hhcdata.almondroadsurgery@nhs.net. we will try to action these within 24 - 48 hrs

many thanks & we apologise for the inconvenience

Today is probably your last chance to make sure you have enough of your repeat medication to last over the Easter weekend and order more if you might run out.
Don’t be one of the 555 people who called NHS 111 last Easter weekend requesting their repeat medication.

Three easy steps to take care of yourself and your family this Easter weekend. By using NHS services the right way, you can help ensure those most in need of medical attention can access it promptly.

Over Easter there are lots of NHS services open in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to help local residents with any medical concerns, including pharmacies and minor injury units
https://www.cambridgeshireandpeterboroughccg.nhs.uk/your-health-and-services/whats-open-easter-2022/

Minor Injury Units (MIU) and Urgent Treatment Centres (UTC) are open across the Easter weekend. They can help with a range of minor illnesses and injuries such as sprains and strains, broken bones, minor burns and scalds, minor head and eye injuries, bites and stings.

The NHS never stops, never sleeps. Thank you to all NHS and social care staff working over the long Easter weekend
