💚 World Mental Health Day 10th October 2025 💚
Today, we take a moment to pause — to talk about something we, as funeral directors, understand all too well… mental health.
In our profession, we see things most people could never imagine. We walk beside families through heartbreak, through loss, and through silence that follows when someone’s pain became too much to bear.
Week after week, month after month, year after year — we walk hand in hand with families who have lost someone to their mental health. Someone who felt there was no other way out. And those moments never leave us. They sit in our hearts and remind us why compassion, kindness, and time for one another matter more than anything.
That’s why today, we stand with you all.
To those still fighting battles no one else can see — we see you.
To those who get up and try again every single day — we are proud of you.
To those who feel like their struggle is “too small” to matter — it’s not.
You are not alone.
You are strong.
You are loved.
You are needed.
And you’ve got this. 💚
To all the families who have lost someone so special — someone who couldn’t see the strength they carried inside — please know that we carry them with us too. We see you, we love you, and we are here for you.
If you ever need to talk, to sit quietly, to cry, laugh, or just breathe — our door is open. No judgement. No expectations. Just care. The kettle’s on, and the biscuits are ready to be shared. And this is for everyone who sees this and is reading it with us today.
Because sometimes, it’s not about finding the right words — it’s simply about knowing someone is there.
💚 💚💚
Even the strongest hearts need rest — asking for help isn’t weakness, it’s one of the bravest things a person can do.
