Celebrating the retirement of one of the longest serving members of ‘Team Marbrook’… Wendy is one of our amazing Housekeepers (the secret magic to any care service, as they spend lots of time with residents and need great levels of care and understanding as they support residents and keep our home so clean and infection free). Wendy has been with us for over nine years and will be missed by all of us. Happy Christmas and a really happy (and hopefully relaxed) New Year 🥳👏🎉

Yesterday at Marbrook, we had the pleasure of spending World Stroke Day with our Stroke Association pals, Ashley & Ian! 👋💜

They shared their knowledge on Thrombectomy – a procedure where doctors remove a blood clot from the brain using a thin tube, helping restore blood flow & reduce brain damage if done quickly after stroke symptoms begin.

What an interesting story for those living with Parkinson’s

Our Tea & Togetherness Afternoon was a hit! 🧁
Yesterday, Team Marbrook held an afternoon tea, in support of Breast Cancer Now.
We raised a total of £195.28 in donations 🥹- a huge thank you to everyone who was able to donate to this great cause!
We couldn't believe how many people told us about their personal experiences with breast cancer, which really brought home the importance of the day.
