Yesterday at Marbrook, we had the pleasure of spending World Stroke Day with our Stroke Association pals, Ashley & Ian! 👋💜

They shared their knowledge on Thrombectomy – a procedure where doctors remove a blood clot from the brain using a thin tube, helping restore blood flow & reduce brain damage if done quickly after stroke symptoms begin.

What an interesting story for those living with Parkinson’s

Our Tea & Togetherness Afternoon was a hit! 🧁
Yesterday, Team Marbrook held an afternoon tea, in support of Breast Cancer Now.
We raised a total of £195.28 in donations 🥹- a huge thank you to everyone who was able to donate to this great cause!
We couldn't believe how many people told us about their personal experiences with breast cancer, which really brought home the importance of the day.

A simple task, with a big impact 💭

Who would've thought that folding an envelope could feel so challenging?! 💌

As part of Learning Disability Awareness Week, our staff had two goes at this task. On their second attempt, we introduced visual aids, patience, team work & clear communication to mirror the support individuals with learning disabilities may need.

This isn't just about folding paper - it's about how the right support changes everything ✨

Yesterday, Tracy, Kirsty, Emily, and Rachel took part in the 'Let's Talk International Recruitment' event with Bedfordshire Care Group, where they delivered a short presentation, sharing their experiences and insights on international recruitment.
