This weekend we attended the RAF Pentland Annual Dinner, being represented by current serving personnel and ex-Forces veterans.

BJW Health and Safety Services proudly sponsored a table this year to support the Survival Equipment Association. So proud to have served in the Armed Forces, this occasion allows me to reflect on what I have achieved and be thankful to everyone who have served in the Armed Forces.

When you go out to do site inspections for one of our valued Consultancy clients Adm Plumbing Contractors and get feedback from the Site Managers like “ Great bunch of guys, never have any issues” and “ Best Contractors on our site, very professional and safety focused” it’s make you feel proud. Well done to the team at ADM 👍

What a beautiful week for mental health awareness week and perfect weather to get out there and get some steps in with the sun shining and sunglasses on 🌞😎

Mental Health Awareness Week is a reminder that looking after our minds is just as important as looking after our bodies. For me, fitness is my reset button, it clears my head, boosts my mood, and keeps me grounded. Whether it’s a run, a gym session, or just moving your body, exercise can be a powerful tool for mental well-being. 💙

If you or someone you know is struggling, resources like Mind (mind.org.uk), Samaritans (samaritans.org), and NHS Every Mind Matters (nhs.uk/every-mind-matters) offer guidance and support. Always remember you’re never alone, help is out there.

💭💭💭 Sometimes even the best of people need to stop, re-organise themselves in order to find new ways and build brighter futures. As we leave behind sunny Southampton on a Sunday after Brian Wilson CMIOSH, CertEd delivering a personalised and extended version of the IOSH Working Safely course to Overseas Workers at one of our valued clients sites; I took the time to restructure how we manage things to work a bit smarter. Taking a leaf out of their book and being RESPONSIBLE for our business, taking PRIDE in what I and we do and INNOVATING new ways of working. So proud of what we do and excited for what we have to come 🥳🤩
