We offer an innovative and proficient service which provides a solution for staffing needs in the health and social care of individuals that are in nursing homes, residential supported living as well as domiciliary care programs for those needing care in Staffordshire county.

All carers and support workers at Acadia Support Services Ltd undergo an intensive interview, reference checked and vetted through Enhanced DBS, thereby fully adhering to the minimum requirement set out by CQC regulations.

To ensure that our clients receive the utmost care, tailored to their individual needs, and ensure that they retain their dignity and independence in a nursing home or whilst living independently.

The same values go for our employees. We understand that the key to life and work is a healthy work-life balance. Our team are experienced healthcare individuals who understand this and strive to ensure our employees are happy and feel they work as part of a team. We follow an open-door policy and positive work environment. We run the Rota system on a schedule that is 6 weeks in advance, on a fortnightly weekend rotating basis.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive and empathic like-minded individuals, who at the end of the day finds joy in helping others.

If successful, you will receive a paid fully-integrated training program, paid DBS, paid Uniforms, in line with Covid-19 Unlimited PPE, paid mileage, contracted hours, paid holidays and opportunities for growth within the company.

The job role in question will begin as part time but has room for growth. The requirements of the job role are:

- experience working as a support worker or in the healthcare industry
- must drive / hold valid driving license
- reference check
- able to work either from morning until lunch or afternoon until evening
- able to work rotating weekends
- on-call responsibilities
- positive and enthusiastic attitude
- able to start work by Mid-December

Our services are extended to individuals with mental health related illnesses, learning disabilities, dementia, autism, brain trauma and special needs.
We understand and respect the needs of individuals from various ethnic and religious backgrounds such as dietary requirements. We also recognize that language may act as a barrier to communication and so we aim to increase communication between the service users and our employees by offering communication skills training.
