Grocutt & Sons funeral directors of Greyfriars, Stafford.
We are always glad to accommodate a family's wishes, to provide that personal and dignified touch. We were asked to have the coffin coloured in one of the lady's favourite colours. Family provided a very particular shade of purple and gave us a Dulux colourcard. They were delighted with the shade and the outcome, to the point that the family uploaded this image themselves onto our Google reviews site.
ALWAYS happy to go that extra mile and to accommodate wishes.

A celebration of life!!
WE felt so priviliged recently to wear "Bright coloured orange ties" in support of a lady whose favourite colour was bright orange. It really was an Honour

Wonderful praise from our family in supporting them, as many of the family and attendees also wore something very vibrant orange.

My thanks goes to all of our staff for there support in wearing orange, whilst maintaining that Professional and empathetic approach.

Remembering all those who made the sacrifice, Today in particular, but also remembering my Grandad who fell just a short time later in 1944. Never had the privilege to meet Him, but every year I dedicate the window display to Him and His colleagues, we thank you for your bravery. To Pte. A. Grocutt I salute you.

Steve Grocutt began in the Funeral Profession in 1993 at F.M. & J. Wait in Lichfield before becoming an Undergraduate at Birmingham University completing his Nursing degree and was employed at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham - specialising in Burns and trauma as a Critical Care Nurse. I am also proud to have been part of the Critical Care team at Stafford County Hospital for a number of years too.

In 2003 Steve joined the Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron (Tactical Medical Wing) based at R.A.F Lyneham as a Non-Commissioned Officer and served in the Gulf War as a Critical Care Military Nurse.

During my 18 years as a Critical Care Nurse I was fortunate enough to have been employed as a full-time Nurse to the late Professor Stephen Hawking (Physicist) supporting him during many of his Overseas trips, including personally meeting and being blessed by Pope Francis at the Vatican - Rome.

I have come full circle and delighted to remain in the Caring Profession - returning to the Funeral trade as Director of Grocutt & Sons and once again proud to serve the Community of Stafford and surrounding areas.
