This awesome group just qualified and what a busy mad day it was… but so worth it.
🤩 If 21 new lymphoedema therapists have 500 patients each then that’s 10,500 lives that can be changed and improved just by them being around…

We’ve had a fantastic time at
There are so many products and some great additions for lymphoedema too.
We were able to discuss our ‘Foundation training’ for sports and manual therapists and our MLD training along with many other things.

The last 7 weeks we’ve been on the road, 🛣️
👩‍🏫 Delivering training and presenting at many conferences.
❓Why? Because to be the best we have to keep learning,
We have to know what’s happening in the world 🌎
📈Where trends are heading, what new research is around and how to steer progress… and we can’t do that in the UK

🇨🇦 🇪🇸 🇮🇹 🇺🇸 We’ve presented in 6 countries (we include Scotland! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 💪🏻 )
Presented 10 different conference papers (research and studies) and seen so many good friends and colleagues from around the globe 🌍

One conference to go … and then it’s Christmas 🎄 😃

Morning session-
Joint chairing the ‘Lipoedema and quality of life - patient Advocacy’ session this morning.

💪🏻 So inspiring to hear stories of success and development of multi national support groups but also the struggles…

💙An average of 20 years to achieve Lipoedema diagnosis and 5-10 healthcare professionals to get ‘there’ meaning most diagnosis comes at a later stage.

🩵 Time is not our friend needing “Medical knowledge with lived experience” to move forward
