Tameside’s very first Wellness Industry Summit! 🌿💚

✨ Sleep treats for tonight’s Yoga & Sound session ✨

This evening’s theme is all about the power of quality sleep and how essential it is for our overall wellbeing. 🌙
Sleep is when our body restores, repairs, and rebalances — it’s the foundation of our physical, mental, and emotional health.

To complement our session, I’ve created these homemade “sleep treats” — fresh kiwi slices dipped in dark chocolate and sprinkled with a touch of sea salt 🍫🥝🩵

Both kiwi and dark chocolate are naturally rich in magnesium, a key mineral that supports relaxation, nervous system regulation, and deeper, more restorative sleep. 😴

As we move, breathe, rest and receive sound tonight, our focus will be on slowing down, soothing the body, and honouring rest as medicine. 💫

Here’s your gentle reminder: prioritising quality sleep is one of the most loving acts of self-care you can give yourself. 🌿

🌿 Practising What I Teach 🌿

This week we had to say goodbye to our gorgeous Bear 💔
It’s left a huge hole in our home and in our hearts. The quiet feels different, and everything reminds us of him.

I know that when life feels heavy, the most important thing I can do is continue to care for my well-being — to truly practise what I teach through Your Well-being Company.

So today, I’m focusing on my Daily DOSE — the small steps that support my nervous system and nurture my mind and heart:

💚 Dopamine (The Reward Chemical) – baking cinnamon swirls with Grace
🤍 Oxytocin (The Love Hormone) – hugging Steve and my girls
🌤️ Serotonin (The Mood Stabiliser) – walking through the park
🕯️ Endorphins (The Pain Killer) – a gentle Yin yoga session and a cosy film tonight

Grief reminds us how deeply we can love — and that even in hard moments, there are ways to gently support ourselves through.

Nutrition is one of the most important pillars of wellbeing — but also one of the hardest to get right! 🥗

I’ll be honest… it’s my biggest personal challenge. As an emotional eater 🙋‍♀️, I’ve had to work hard to create a healthier relationship with food. But with the help of my friend Karen — the 🥦 — I’ve been reminded how simple and powerful good nutrition can be when you focus on balance, not perfection.

Even though I have a nutrition background from my degree (many years ago now 😅), this year has been about going back to basics: fuelling my body, supporting my mood, and enjoying food without guilt.

Here I am enjoying one of my new favourites — an açai bowl loaded with antioxidants and good vibes! 🫐💜

🔥 Top 5 Nutrition Hacks for Wellbeing:
1️⃣ Eat the rainbow — colourful foods = diverse nutrients.
2️⃣ Hydrate — aim for at least 6–8 glasses of water a day.
3️⃣ Include protein at every meal — helps balance blood sugar and energy.
4️⃣ Plan ahead — a little prep reduces stress and impulsive choices.
5️⃣ Be kind to yourself — food is meant to be enjoyed, not feared.

What a truly beautiful class this evening!

A heartfelt thank you to our lovely ladies, Jai and Maxi, for bringing homemade Indian tea and treats in celebration of Diwali. Our meditation today focused on honoring new beginnings—a celebration of light overcoming darkness, wisdom over ignorance, courage over fear, and love over division. It was such a special experience. Thank you to everyone who made it memorable. Feeling physically, mentally, and spiritually reset and ready to embrace the week.

We had an incredible start to our “Empowered through Well-Being” program! 🙌

Today was extra special as these amazing ladies dove into their very first movement, mindfulness, meditation, and sound class. The impact was beautiful and transformative. They were pleasantly surprised at how relaxed and rejuvenated they felt! 🧘‍♀️✨

Join us for our weekly workshop series that melds mind-body practices with creative expression to help you feel lighter, calmer, and more empowered. 💫 Guided by our experienced coaches, you’ll journey into understanding how emotions manifest in the body and learn simple yet powerful tools like mindfulness, meditation, sound, breathwork, movement, and creativity.
