We had a lovely visit to Birch Tree Cafe💙

✨It was a lovely sunny day and we took a walk round their beautiful gardens. This wonderful café is partly staffed by young adults with Down’s Syndrome, who clearly take great pride in what they do and really enjoy welcoming and serving their guests. It creates such a warm, friendly atmosphere for everyone who visits.✨

A lovely trip out to Stamford town centre today 🛍️✨

We enjoyed a wander around the beautiful shops and had a lovely time exploring Clarendon Fine Art. The artwork was beautiful.

Finished off with a bit of shopping and soaking up the atmosphere of our wonderful town centre, followed by a cuppa of course! ☺️

Our residents have absolutely loved the few days of sunshine we’ve been lucky enough to enjoy this week ☀️

We made the most of it by sitting out in the garden for the very first time this year, and it was just lovely! Fresh air & warm sunshine, here’s hoping for many more sunny days to come! ✨

This week, we’ve been getting creative for Easter! 🐣🌸

Our residents had a wonderful time designing and making their very own Easter bonnets – full of colour, creativity and lots of smiles. It’s been fantastic to see everyone’s imagination come to life and we’re so proud of all the beautiful creations!

Well done to everyone who took part – you’ve truly made this Easter extra special. 💛🐰

✨We are absolutely delighted to announce that Anita Malkevica has been promoted to Home Manager.✨

Anita started working with us as a Nurse, progressing to Deputy Manager, and now stepping into her new role as Home Manager. Her dedication, compassion, and commitment to both residents and staff have shone through every step of the way.

She is a valued member of our team, we couldn’t be prouder to see her achievements recognised in this well-deserved promotion! 👏🏻

Please join us in congratulating Anita on this fantastic milestone, we know she will continue to make a positive difference to everyone in our home. 😁

✨🌈 Our new sensory room is officially open! 🌈✨

Designed to promote gentle stimulation, relaxation, and engagement, this space offers calming lights, interactive gadgets, and sensory experiences that can be especially beneficial for residents living with dementia.

A huge thank you to two of our lovely gentlemen who worked alongside our amazing activity team to help bring this room to life; your support, ideas, and enthusiasm made this project extra special. 💙

We’re so proud to have created a space that encourages wellbeing, comfort, and meaningful moments every day.

A lovely day out at 🌼🌿
Our residents enjoyed exploring the beautiful plants, choosing their favourites, and stopping to admire the fishies swimming around 🐠💙 A little café treat made the day even sweeter! ☕✨

Flipping into Pancake Day the best way 🥞💛

Our wonderful activity team brought the joy (and the delicious smells!) straight to our residents for Pancake Day, cooking fresh pancakes right in front of them.

From classic lemon and sugar to strawberries, syrup and cream, everyone enjoyed choosing their favourites and watching them being made fresh on the spot. It’s moments like these; simple, homely, and full of joy, that bring everyone together and create such special memories.

A big thank you to our lovely activity girls for making the day extra sweet 💛✨
