"Balance" - sometimes seen as an elusive quality to our lives as we spin around in ever decreasing circles trying to "survive" and to "make ends meet". Most of my posts are around physical & mental wellbeing, but true balance comes from that part of ourselves that is our essence, that part that cannot be seen or defined but that we know if we take a moment to stop, breathe and "tune in" we can find our answers to peace and remind ourselves of our own wisdom. Today is the Summer Solstice and it's a time used in old traditions for many reasons but it is also a perfect time to take a moment for yourself, to reflect on what has been, let go of what you realise is no longer serving you, as well as asking for something you would like to bring in to your life. You can do this by journalling, meditating or even expressing it through art, a walk in nature, writing it on a piece of paper and giving it back to source (maybe in a fire for example) or whatever works for you. Last night I was part of a beautiful fire ceremony in the woods where we did just that! π₯π§π»πππ. Our combined energies drew in others who came to join us to drum, sing (or wail out of tune in my case ππ€£!!) & to connect under the moon & in nature. Sounds whacky to many I know but honestly - itβs very liberating to let go & just be as we are meant to be connecting with like minded souls.
