A great upper body workout today with a client who has several health conditions including arthritis of the knees. Most of the workout was sitting to relieve pressure on the knees, although we did plenty of gentle joint mobilisation though a gentle warm up. The focus was on developing muscular strength and joint stability. Plenty of reps with lighter weights. This will help the client become stronger for everyday activities. We even managed 10 minutes on the cycle at the end which is a great low impact activity and helps keep the joints mobile.😀
