A Threadbear Production Hand made bears and other creatures. Every creation is totally unique, hand painted faces, dressed i Many of these are vintage, collected through the years.

A Threadbear Production is a small business producing hare's, rabbits, mice, bears and pug dogs. Each character is made in calico which is painted in several coats of Farrow & Ball paint. This is then sanded and foxed, to give the impression of age. I then collect together a story of fabrics for each character, including silks, linens and yarns. At this point each character takes on it's own identity with back packs, scarfs, wings or other adornments. I am happy to take on commissions if you would like a character to more specific requirements or themes. Depending on the work involved, this may cost more. Please contact me for further details.

It seems I’ve got quite a few new followers recently so just thought I’d say a quick hello!!
A Threadbear Production is something I’ve been working on for over 10 years. It’s a part time business that I work on in my spare time. I live just outside Stamford, Lincs and work as a tree surgeon for my main job.
I’m just about to take a 3 month trip to New Zealand for some work and travel. Another passion of mine is horses and plan to spend some time on a working horse farm on the South Island.
