Then in the afternoon some of us did a beetle drive, giving us a blast from the past 🪲

After some much earned lunch, we had a quiz, which merged into a lovely sing along, and Ron headed to the gym for another session with Personal Trainer Freddy 🎤🏋️

Our first Red Nose Day didn’t disappoint, as Lifestyle & Enrichment Coordinator Chris bravely took to the stocks while residents, staff and visitors lined up to throw water balloons, all in support of Comic Relief 👏

Well… we’ll all sleep well tonight after the laughter of today! 😆😴

We stuck on our red noses and headed out into the garden for some Red Nose Day fun 🔴

Lifestyle and Enrichment Coordinator Chris, had bravely volunteered himself to take to the stocks as residents and staff threw water balloons and sponges at him, all in aid of Comic Relief 🎈🧽

Some were definitely more excited than others to soak Chris, but it’s safe to say, we all had a good laugh 🤭

A huge well done to Chris for being such a great sport! 👏

Once everyone was warm and dry again, we headed inside for some lunch, followed by a spot of biscuit decorating.

And how could we forget, we also celebrated the wonderful Jan’s birthday, with a chorus of ‘Happy Birthday’ and a homemade cake. Many happy returns, Jan! 🎂

Today we’ve enjoyed some musical exploration, listening to our favourite songs, and discovering some new hits 🎶🎤

In the afternoon we welcomed Bella V, who came to sing us a few songs. She certainly got us in the mood for a dance 💃🕺

Some of the residents spent the rest of the afternoon in the gym with personal trainer Freddy 🏋️💪

Freddy also discovered what motivates Ron in the gym 😆(check the comments to see the video).

What a wholesome day we’ve had today 🥰

Our morning started with our Baby & Toddler Group, where we all enjoyed having a cuddle with the adorable babies! Children always bring a smile to our residents faces 👶☺️

Then in the afternoon we headed outside for some games in the sun. From ring toss to table tennis, there was plenty to keep us busy with! ☀️🏓

We started the week off yesterday with some gentle stretches and a few games of hoopla. Everybody was a great sport cheering each other on, and we certainly have some great aim amongst us 👏

Lifestyle & Enrichment Coordinator, Chris, has volunteered to step into the stocks and take on a barrage of water balloons, all for a great cause! 💧🎈
