Sound advice from the Tisserand institute. I don’t usually buy any oils from a shop either, especially if the bottles are just displayed on a shelf.

Good Morning,
I would just like to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported me over almost 21 years!
I'm often asked by my clients whether I have put my prices up yet, as they know that I like them to be affordable so that a treatment doesn't have to be a rare treat. To that end, I have not had an increase since 2022 and some of my clients have put their prices up themselves!
In the light of this and the increase in the cost of living generally, there will a small increase from 1st September as shown below.
Cost of Treatments
From 1st September 2025

Full Body Massage
( Approximately 60 minutes of massage ):
Holistic: £37, Aromatherapy £40
Hot Stones (90 minutes )£50
Hot Stones 60 minutes £45

Back, neck and shoulder massage which can inlude a short face, leg or arm massage.
(Approx:30/45 minutes of massage) :
Holistic : £23/£28 Aromatherapy : £25/£34 Hot Stones : £30/£40

Reflexology
Per 1 hour treatment : £35

Indian Head Massage

🧠 Scientists have discovered a remarkable way to double the brain’s waste clearance system—not with drugs or surgery, but simply by massaging the skin.

A team from the Institute for Basic Science (IBS) has shown in mice that gently stimulating the lymphatic vessels under the skin of the face and neck can dramatically boost cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) flow. This process helps flush out toxins and waste products from the brain, including harmful proteins linked to Alzheimer’s disease. Using a specially designed mechanical stimulator, researchers restored CSF drainage to youthful levels in aged mice, suggesting a safe, non-invasive strategy to improve brain health.

Even more exciting, the study mapped previously unknown drainage routes from the brain to superficial lymph nodes through facial lymphatics—pathways that remain active even in older animals. This discovery completes the anatomical picture of CSF outflow and hints at future wearable or clinical devices designed to enhance brain cleansing.

While more research is needed before human applications, this gentle mechanical approach may open the door to new therapies aimed at preventing or slowing neurodegenerative conditions like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.

Did you know how Reflexology affects your body?

Relaxation
Opens neural pathways and floods the nervous system with neuron activity which puts the body in a more relaxed state, inducing a state of calm throughout your body and mind.

Blood Circulation
Improved circulation also means more oxygen reaches the vital organ systems, optimizing their functioning and further increasing metabolism. The deliverance of oxygen through the body also results in faster healing and re-growth of damaged cells.

Reducing headaches
Relieving tension in the muscles often relieves patients of stress-induced migraines and headaches.

Boosts energy
Reflexology sessions can improve the functionality of many organs in your body, which would result in higher metabolism, which in turn helps create more energy in your body.

Eliminates toxins
By improving blood circulation, reflexology can improves bladder function. This can result in a more efficient system of eliminating toxins.

Taking a couple of days off to celebrate my birthday with family. Back next week.

Good Morning! It has been warm in my treatment room this week...all the better for relaxing muscles!

I am really enjoying being able to offer full treatments again and I just thought I would give you an update. With regard to the changes in rules regarding mask wearing, I will still be wearing a mask throughout your visit. I will also continue to take lateral flow tests at least twice a week and carry out all the additional cleaning procedures and ventilation as required by the government guidelines. Thankfully, I can also give you a glass of water!
You, my clients have been wonderful with regard to wearing masks, and I would be grateful if you would continue to do so except when you are having a face massage or lying on your front.
For the time being, I will continue to send out consultation forms in advance of your treatment, but hope that one day in the future I will be able to return to giving you that extra one to one time. Looking forward to seeing you soon, and in the meantime, stay safe!
