MMRV is now part of the NHS routine childhood vaccination programme, replacing the MMR vaccine.

It protects against measles, mumps, rubella and chickenpox.

Chickenpox is very common and can sometimes lead to serious complications, so vaccination helps reduce the risk of serious illness as children grow.

You don’t need to do anything — your GP will be in touch when your child is due.

Your pharmacist can provide treatment or some prescription medicine, if needed, for seven common conditions - without you seeing a GP.

Think pharmacy first and get seen by your local community pharmacy team.

We have about 30 left so if you’ve previously had a txt and still haven’t had your flu vacc, ring us to grab one before they go 😊

New NHS data shows a rise in winter virus cases – including flu – in hospitals last week. Flu can be serious, especially for those at higher risk.

Flu vaccines don’t stop everyone from catching flu, but they do reduce the risk of becoming seriously unwell, needing hospital care or developing complications – especially for older adults and those with health conditions.

Over 18.6 million flu vaccines have been given this season. If you’re eligible and haven’t had yours yet, it’s not too late to get protected.

🔵 Get moving with any kind of physical activity

🔵 Make the most of natural daylight

🔵 Plan ahead for tougher days with less pressure and more rest.

If things feel overwhelming, treatments like light therapy, talking therapies can help.
