💙 March is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month

Prostate cancer mainly affects men over 50 and is more common in Black men. It often develops slowly, so there may be no symptoms at first.

⚠️ Knowing the signs matters. Early diagnosis and treatment can save lives.

If you notice any changes in your body or something doesn’t feel right, contact your GP.

Looking after your health starts with being aware. 💙

💉 The HPV vaccine helps protect against several types of cancer, including cervical cancer, and cancers of the mouth, throat, and ge****ls.

👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️ It’s offered to boys and girls at school to help protect them later in life.

🩺 The vaccine does not protect against all HPV types, so it’s still important to attend cervical screening when invited.

Protect yourself and stay informed. 💙

Ovarian cancer mostly affects women over 50, but it can affect anyone with ovaries. The symptoms can be easy to miss and are often mistaken for other common conditions.

⚠️ Common symptoms to watch for include:

• Persistent bloating or a swollen tummy
• Tummy or pelvic pain
• Feeling full quickly or loss of appetite
• Needing to p*e more often or urgently
• Tiredness, weight loss, indigestion, or unusual vaginal bleeding

These symptoms can be caused by many conditions, but if they are new, persistent, or unusual for you, it’s important to speak to your GP. Early diagnosis can make treatment more effective.

💛 Listen to your body. If something doesn’t feel normal, get it checked.
