We are delighted to announce Sophie for Support worker of the month at Woodland View! 🥳

Sophie consistently brings a happy, warm, and uplifting personality to her role, which has a really positive impact on both service users and colleagues. Sophie goes above and beyond for all the service user’s she supports and ensures the care she provides is always person-centred. Sophie consistently strives to enhance the quality of life for the people she supports, making sure they have opportunities to take part in meaningful, enjoyable activities. For example, Sophie has recently organized a Christmas eve PJ party, a new year's eve party and a pizza making afternoon for the Service users at Woodland View.💛💜

Service users at Woodland View came together yesterday for a fun pizza making afternoon.

Sessions like this help to improve the service user’s social skills, build confidence, and develop positive relationships, all while enjoying making and enjoying food together.

Working in social care doesn’t stop for Christmas, and neither do we. While many people are celebrating with family and friends, we are out there providing care, comfort, and reassurance to the people who rely on us 24/7.

We know this time of year can mean missed celebrations, long shifts, and extra demands, and we don’t take that lightly. The kindness, patience, and dedication we all show every day (and night) truly makes a difference, especially during the festive period when support matters most.

Woodland view service users and staff enjoyed a lovely Christmas get together at The New Punch Bowl, Craghead 🎅🍽️

The food was absolutely delicious and enjoyed by all! A huge thank you to everyone at The New Punch Bowl for making us feel so special throughout their visit ❤️ Your kindness and hospitality really meant a lot to us.

We've had a fantastic day at the Alan Shearer Centre, making the most of their incredible hydrotherapy pool.

Its such a calming, uplifting environment and a lovely space for everyone to relax, move freely, and enjoy the benefits of the warm water.
