A new parliamentary petition is calling for careworkers to have the same 5-year route to settlement as other health and care professionals. Current proposals could mean up to 15 years — based on the belief that care work is “low-skill,” which simply isn’t true.

This is about fairness, recognition and valuing the incredible work done every day in our sector.
