Seacroft Green Care Home Our dedicated team provides high-quality nursing, dementia and short-term respite care. Our focus is people, everybody matters and we really care.

Offering 76 beds for nursing, intermediate and respite care alongside residential beds for working age adults who need living support, Seacroft Green Care Centre stands majestically beside the Village Green and adjacent to Seacroft Grange Care Village in the centre of this close knit community. Working closely with award winning architects and interior designers, we believe we have created a Care Centre like no other. Light positively streams in from all sides, and each of the four floors has its own unique identity. We have brought together a full complement of highly skilled healthcare professionals whose passion and commitment to the highest possible standards is evident in everything that they do. Residents, visitors, colleagues … our job is to care and that is what we do.

On Friday afternoon, love was truly in the air as we celebrated Valentine’s Day with a wonderful tea party. Residents enjoyed delicious treats, drinks, and plenty of smiles - made even more special by a visit from the legendary Howard Brent 🎶

✈️🇫🇷 A trip to Paris – the City of Love! 🇫🇷

Our wellbeing team took residents on a virtual journey to Paris, and what an adventure it was! Before take-off, Sam carefully checked all boarding passes, followed by a safety video with Seacroft Airways ✈️

Once we landed, residents enjoyed a lively tour of Paris’ iconic landmarks, along with French cheese, fresh pastries, macarons, madeleines, and a glass of French champagne or wine 🥐🧀🍾

After returning home, we finished the day with a fun quiz, where residents competed for prizes 🎉
A wonderful day full of laughter, flavours, and first-class memories ❤️

Last Friday at Seacroft Green, our residents enjoyed a relaxing and creative flower arranging session, crafting beautiful bouquets filled with colour and care.

Flower arranging is more than just a lovely activity. It offers many wonderful benefits, including:
Encouraging creativity and self-expression, supporting fine motor skills and coordination, promoting relaxation and emotional wellbeing, stimulating the senses through colour, texture, and scent and creating moments of joy, conversation, and connection

It was heart-warming to see the smiles, focus, and pride as residents admired their finished arrangements. 💐

Monday morning at Seacroft Green Care Centre, we were delighted to welcome the wonderful Amanda for a very special Dementia Friends coffee morning 💛

Residents and staff had an amazing time singing, dancing, and sharing plenty of laughs - the room was filled with joy, music, and smiles from start to finish 🎶💃🕺
