At ‘Dynamic Counselling’ we offer a containing
space for you to do exactly this through our ‘Affordable Counselling Service’ through which we offer sessions for just £20.

Appointments are available across both of our sites in Stansted Mountfitchet and Great Dunmow.

For the month of January we are offering new ‘Affordable Counselling’ clients their initial Assessment session FOR FREE.

'Dynamic Counselling' is excited to announce the arrival of our new Play Therapist, Laura Thurlow (MA University of Roehampton)

As a Play Therapist, Laura works with children aged 3-13, using play as the main form of communication. Play Therapy is a child centred approach, allowing the child to take the lead in the session and creating a space for them to explore their feelings and process their life experiences. Laura is experienced in working with children with a number of different presenting issues, including neurodivergence, problems at school and early life trauma.

She will be based out of our Great Dunmow Centre on Thursday afternoons and Sunday mornings/afternoons.

2nd October, a momentous day! The Anniversary of two family businesses launching!

3 years ago my best friend Theresa McCarthy launched her highly successful Your Family Nutritionist (having already been running a lauded nutrition based business for years). This business has seen countless parents, babies and children through the journey of weaning and then onto enjoying the benefits of a healthy and happy relationship with food. Happy Anniversary to you!

Then exactly a year ago today we officially opened our doors to our second Therapy Centre ‘ Dynamic Counselling’ in Great Dunmow, having already been running our flagship Centre in Stansted Mountfitchet. The Centre has gone from
strength to strength and we are so proud to have played our part in make counselling accessible to all in the local community as well as supporting over 20 counsellors completing their placements. Happy Anniversary to us!
