This year’s Iden Manor fireworks display party was a true celebration of community spirit and it all began with our wonderful guests from the local community. Many asked if we were accepting donations on the night, we hadn’t planned on it but happily agreed with the intention to pay it forward into our community, for the benefit of the community. We’re thrilled to share we raised £195 for the McCabe Dementia Café.
The Café opens its doors to everyone on the first Wednesday of every month, creating a welcoming space filled with friendship, conversation, games, and delicious treats. It's all completely free of charge. Having visited ourselves, we’ve seen firsthand the joy and connection it brings, and we’re delighted that our donation will help them continue this fantastic work.
We were also touched to receive such kind feedback from families who joined us on the night:
