Monthly lunch and support hub for carers of those living with Dementia in Rushcliffe, Nottinghamshire. Based at Edwalton Manor Care Home and running in conjunction with the Rushcliffe Carers Hub and Alzheimer's Society you will be able to chat in a friendly environment and find out from professionals what support is available to you. Happening on the first Thursday of every month it is free to attend and a free lunch too - please book in advance by contacting Louise at Edwalton.Rec@hamberleycarehomes.co.uk or call 0115 671 3560.

There's still time to order one of these everlasting hand-crafted flowers for Mother's Day for the special offer price of £25 each. Every flower ordered from us includes a donation to the hospice. Made from fused glass with a copper stem in a wide range of colours and designs. They look lovely in a vase, but equally are garden hardy. These flowers have been individually handcrafted from glass. 🌼

Huge thanks to Belvoir Farm for supporting our Big Give Christmas Challenge last December. As pledgers they were instrumental in enabling us to smash our target and we can't thank them enough!

Hospice care is so many things and having the opportunity to shop in our newly professionally fitted out "in hospice" shop is just one of the many elements of hospice care that we offer at Dove Cottage. We were thrilled to welcome our first customers as they came to have a browse this week. From cards to gifts, clothing, puzzles and accessories there's something for everyone and every occasion💛

2026 marks 30 years since Dove Cottage Day Hospice was founded!

When we opened our doors in 1996, it was as a result of a phenomenal combined
effort - not only from the amazing team behind the hospice- but from you- our supporters. You helped us raise the money needed to open our doors for the first time, and you’ve continued to help us since.

As we head into 2026, we want to celebrate and reflect on how far we have come and, as always, we want to include you in our journey.

Do you have a memory of Dove all those years ago? Maybe you were one of our amazing volunteers in the early days? Maybe you were part of our nursing team? Maybe you gifted furniture or items for use at the hospice? Maybe you donated to one of our initial fundraising campaigns which helped us to open those doors in the first place? Whatever role you had in our journey, we want to hear from you!

We want to create a timeline of our history and would love to involve as many of our community as possible. After all, we wouldn’t be where we are today without you!
