We work hard with our clinical colleagues at Hertford County Hospital, Lister Hospital, Mount Vernon Cancer Centre and New QEII Hospital to fund projects that benefit patients, families and staff above and beyond what the NHS can provide. Join us for special performances from the Jupiter Singers, festive readings and audience sing-alongs for those Christmas favourites! 🎶

The evening will end with refreshments in the church house ⛄

Thanks to a kind donation from , we recently funded new wheelchairs at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre that are much easier for patients to use 💙

The wheelchairs are sturdy but lightweight and have much better steering for moving around the site. They also have a tray for belongings and a special holder for patient case notes.

🗨 Jo DeMare, site services co-ordinator at the centre, said: “Thank you so much to the charity and the Comforts Fund for providing these wheelchairs. They are much easier for everyone to use and will make such a difference for patients who need help moving around the site”

We’re delighted to be supporting our brilliant carer experience volunteer team celebrate Carers’ Rights Day 💗

The team will be at all our hospitals during November raising awareness of carers’ rights, providing support information and fundraising for carer support initiatives with bake sales and a raffle🍰

They will also be available for carers to ask questions or get assistance with their Carer Passports.
