Jackie had a brilliant time celebrating her friend Aisha’s birthday with a fun game of bowling, supported by Marian, her support worker. She also met up with her friend Sarah and the three of them enjoyed lots of laughs together.

And when Jackie headed to Chrysalis with Georgia for her church service, to her surprise, she bumped into Aisha there too! A lovely coincidence that made her day.

It’s wonderful to see Jackie enjoying meaningful moments with her friends throughout the week.

After receiving a very positive health check, Alex made the most of the day by taking a long, refreshing walk around town. Later on, he enjoyed a delicious dinner with his mum at his favourite Thai restaurant, the perfect way to celebrate some good news.

We’re so pleased to see Alex feeling great and enjoying the things he loves.

Judith had a wonderful time catching up over coffee with the lovely ladies from the Highfield Community Centre Fridge, where she proudly volunteers. It’s always great to see her so connected and involved in her community.

She’s also been enjoying her newly decorated front room and enjoying a well‑deserved treat following her recent positive person‑centred review.

We’re so pleased to see Judith thriving and embracing all these special moments.

David and Sam declared it Sofa Shopping Day, rallied their team, and set off on a grand quest to test‑sit every sofa in sight. After plenty of flopping, bouncing, and dramatic “hmm” moments, they finally chose a bargain.

Only downside? One of the mirrors tried to give them a heart attack with a reflection that definitely didn’t belong in the furniture aisle.

But hey, great sofa, spooky mirror, unforgettable adventure. Perfect shopping trip.

Jackie has kicked off 2026 in her usual busy style. She started the year with a lovely catch‑up with her friend Aisha, joined by their support workers Marian and Nikita. After that, it was off to Asda for her weekly shop, with Lilliput and Peter Rabbit causing their usual mischief along the way.

A few days later, Jackie was back to spreading kindness, donating two beautiful knitted blankets to Smile, a charity supporting people with dementia, their families and carers. Jackie knits every square herself, and her friend Babs pops round for a cuppa to stitch the blankets together.

What a brilliant team they make.
