Veteran-led, community-driven, and here to reduce isolation and improve lives across Hertfordshire and beyond. The Muster Point is a veteran-led support group in Stevenage, providing camaraderie, guidance, and assistance for ex-service personnel. We host weekly meetups (Tuesdays, 10 AM-12 PM at Fairlands Valley Lakes), offering a safe space to connect, share experiences, and access mental health, financial, and employment support. With events, workshops, and advocacy, we ensure no veteran is left behind.

What a night.
What a community.
What a moment for our veterans.

Here is the official video played at The Muster Point Celebration of Remembrance Ball 2025, it tells the story of soldiers journey through service, sacrifice, loss, recovery and rediscovery. A film that shows exactly why The Muster Point exists and why this community matters.

What a night 🇬🇧🚢💂‍♂️✈️

Thank you to every single person who came to The Muster Point Celebration of Remembrance Ball last night, veterans, families, supporters, sponsors and friends. You filled the room with pride, laughter and genuine community spirit.

It felt like a huge success, not just because of the incredible atmosphere, but because it showed what can happen when a community chooses to stand together for its veterans. The conversations, the generosity, the camaraderie, it all made the night unforgettable.

Here are some pictures from the evening.
If you were there, let us know your favourite moment.

The Muster Point Celebration of Remembrance Ball — we are ready.
Tonight, veterans, families, supporters and friends come together for a night of honour, reflection and unity.

The room is set. The tables are dressed. The atmosphere is building.
After a week that saw a three-day Guard of Honour in Stevenage and two mentions in Parliament, we end it by bringing our community together under one roof.

A night to remember the fallen.
A night to celebrate the living.
A night to support those still fighting quiet battles.

See you on the dance floor.
Let’s make this one unforgettable.

What a week for The Muster Point.

We delivered a three-day Guard of Honour at the Stevenage Old Town War Memorial, veterans, Sea Cadets and Royal Marine Cadets united in service, remembrance and community spirit. The turnout and support from Stevenage were incredible 🇬🇧

This week we were mentioned in Parliament twice, with MPs highlighting our work on veteran data, employment, housing and community support. National recognition for a grassroots veteran hub built by veterans, for veterans 💪

And tomorrow, we wrap up the week with the Celebration of Remembrance Ball, a night to honour service, remember the fallen, and support those still fighting their battles. Over 200 guests. One mission. ❤️

A huge week.
Three major milestones.
One movement that’s only getting stronger.

See you on the dance floor. 🎟️✨

🚨 The Muster Point mentioned in the House of Commons for the second time in two days, this time during Prime Minister’s Questions! 🇬🇧

To hear The Muster Point recognised again on the national stage is huge, it shows that the work being done right here in Stevenage for our veteran community is being noticed at the very top.

Our message is simple: grassroots, veteran-led support works. When veterans look after veterans, real change happens.

🎥 Check out the clip below, another proud moment for everyone who’s been part of The Muster Point journey.

📊 From Local Insight to National Action 🇬🇧

Proud to see Kevin Bonavia MP speaking in the Commons yesterday about the veteran employment and housing risk report I produced for Hertfordshire.

This report was sent to decision makers to inform policy with real, evidence based data because without understanding the true picture, how can we know where resources need to go?

The data is already helping shape conversations about veteran housing, employment pathways and local support gaps and this is just the start.

I’m now waiting on further datasets so I can expand this analysis across the UK, giving a national view of where veterans are most at risk and where intervention is most needed.

🎥 Watch the clip of Kevin Bonavia highlighting this work in Parliament proof that grassroots insight can reach Westminster when it’s backed by data and driven by purpose.

📸 Some more moments from yesterday’s Morning Muster and Armistice Day service.

Veterans came together to honour the fallen, share stories, and stand side by side in remembrance. 🌺

This morning, The Muster Point gathered for our own Armistice Day service — a moment of quiet reflection, respect, and remembrance.

We held a reading, followed by two minutes of silence, to honour all those who gave their today for our tomorrow. For many of us, remembrance isn’t just about the past — it’s about the brothers and sisters we served alongside, and the responsibility we carry to keep their memory alive.

Lest we forget. 🌺

📅 Armistice Day | 11th November

At the 11th hour, on the 11th day, of the 11th month — we pause.

We stop to remember the moment the guns fell silent in 1918, bringing an end to the First World War.

Today isn’t just about history. It’s about reflection — on the cost of conflict, the value of peace, and the generations who have worn the uniform with courage and sacrifice.

As we stand together — veterans, serving personnel, families, and communities — we honour those who gave everything, and those still living with the scars of service.

We will remember them.🌹

🎥 What Does Remembrance Mean to the Next Generation? 🇬🇧

This Remembrance weekend, we asked the Sea Cadets and Royal Marine Cadets at the Stevenage War Memorial what Remembrance means to them.

Standing shoulder to shoulder with veterans, these young cadets shared their heartfelt thoughts about respect, service, and sacrifice — reminding us that the spirit of remembrance continues to live on through them.

🎖️ Their words say it all. Watch the video and hear their voices.

Last week at the Stevenage FC Remembrance game, Preston and I had the honour of laying the poppy wreaths. 🇬🇧

Preston proudly wore his Air Cadet uniform, representing the next generation with pride and respect. A powerful reminder that remembrance is something we pass on, not just look back on. 🌺 Stevenage Football Club
