Happy New Year from The Muster Point 🎆

As we step into a new year, we want to take a moment to say thank you to every veteran, family member, supporter and partner who has stood with us.

2025 has been a year of growth, connection and impact for The Muster Point. From our first muster in January, launching the podcast, VE Day celebrations, trips to Parliament, signing the Armed Forces Covenant, the Guard of Honour, Sunday Musters, the Remembrance Ball, hospital visits, honouring the fallen and even releasing a Christmas song – this year has shown what happens when veterans and community come together.

To round it all off, Stu and Steve sat down for a New Year’s Eve special podcast, reflecting honestly on the highs, the challenges and what it has all meant for the veterans we support.

Do They Know It’s Muster Time? has picked up another shout-out on ITV Anglia News 🙌

What started as a simple idea has grown into something far bigger — veterans, families, cadets and the wider community coming together to make sure no veteran feels forgotten, especially at Christmas.

🎄✨ Tuesday Muster Point – Final Muster of 2025! ✨🎄

What an absolutely brilliant way to wrap up an incredible year at The Muster Point! Todays final Muster of 2025 was packed with everything we love — banter, brews and unbeatable camaraderie 🍻😄

From the first laugh to the last cheers, it was a reminder of why the Tuesday Muster Point community is so special. The stories were flowing, the brews were hot, and the banter was ruthless 🙌

💙 A special shout-out to Arthur — who unfortunately is feeling a little under the weather. He’s currently being well looked after by the National Elf Service 🧝‍♂️✨ We all missed him heaps, but rest assured, once he’s up for visitors, we’ll be taking The Muster Point to him — banter, brews and all!

This year has been about connection, camaraderie and looking out for one another and we’re proud of what’s been built together. Whether you’ve joined us at a Tuesday Muster, supported us online, shared a brew, a laugh or a tough conversation – you’re part of this.

If today feels joyful, enjoy it fully.
If today feels quiet or heavy, know this: you are not alone.

🎄 A ROARING FINAL MUSTER BEFORE CHRISTMAS 🎄

What a way to wrap up the year.
Our final Muster Point before Christmas was absolutely buzzing.

👉 4 new members joined the festive fun
🔥 A visit from our local fire station, sharing vital fire safety advice as we head into the holidays
👮‍♂️ And of course, a welcome drop-in from our favourite PCSO, always supporting the veteran community.

This is what it’s all about, connection, camaraderie, and looking out for one another, especially at this time of year.

No pressure. No judgement. Just veterans supporting veterans.

Massive thanks to everyone who popped along and made it such a cracking morning. If this was your first Muster, you’re already part of the family.

🎄 Merry Christmas to Our Armed Forces – Past and Present 🎄

This Christmas, we want to wish everyone who has served and everyone still serving in the Armed Forces a very Merry Christmas.

To our veterans, serving personnel, reservists, and military families, thank you for the sacrifices you have made, the time spent away from loved ones, and the strength you continue to show long after service ends.

Christmas can be a difficult time for many in the Armed Forces community. If you’re missing mates, feeling isolated, or remembering those who are no longer here, you are not forgotten. You are valued. You matter.

From all of us, we wish you a safe, peaceful, and well-deserved Christmas.

🎄 Spreading Christmas Cheer in Hitchin 🎄

The lads were out again today at Iris Court Care Home in Hitchin, celebrating Christmas with the residents and what a brilliant time it was.
Plenty of laughs, festive banter, big smiles all round… and yes, there was even a bit of leg on show 💃🎅

Moments like this are what it’s all about, connection, community, and making sure no one feels forgotten at Christmas.

Huge thanks to the staff and residents for the warm welcome. We’ll definitely be back.
