The new charity has been established to replace Healed Scars (SC050460). The charity HSTAR Scotland SCIO (SC051334), also known as Healed Scars Trauma and Abuse Recovery is continuing existing administration and operating services as HSTAR Scotland SCIO. At HSTAR Scotland our trauma therapy provides a healing environment for all woman in Scotland aged 16 with trauma-related issues. We promote full recognition for female victims of trauma or abuse. Our priority is offering free access to non-judgmental therapies, advocacy support and counselling available to women in Scotland who have lived through trauma and/or abuse at any point in their lives, regardless of age or any other factors. We offer a range of services throughout the community to raise awareness of all factors of trauma and abuse, and to offer support to those who may be impacted, choosing the therapy that will work best for the individual, working together towards empowering and supporting women and improving their mental and physical wellbeing. We offer therapies to help relieve the trauma, distress and isolation faced by women to recover from traumatic past experiences. Whether acute or post-traumatic stress, despite apparent resilience, mental health wellbeing will certainly have been dramatically impacted by trauma and will very often lead to future mental health issues and the therapeutic intervention offered by HSTAR Scotland shows conclusively the massive improvement to the mental health care and wellbeing for those affected by trauma, irrespective of whether there was a previous mental health condition, and to their ongoing survival and future, emotionally, physically and developmentally. We provide free services for female survivors of abuse or trauma: employability coaching, trauma informed parenting courses, grief and bereavement group coaching, mindfulness and yoga online classes, trauma sensitive budgeting workshops, advocacy support (legal, financial, physical and mental wellbeing, nutrition), also up to 8 free sessions of trauma counselling. We believe in empowering women by respecting and appreciating what makes them different, in terms of age, gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation, education, thought and national origin. We have been supporting women from BAME minorities groups, women suffering from HIV and AIDS, ladies who identify themselves with the LGBTQA+ communities. We offer therapies in English, Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi, Spanish, Guajarati, Russian, Polish, Arabic, Syrian, Mandarin and Chinese. Healed Scars - an invitation to a safe and bright future

The Charity Healed Scars raise awareness about domestic abuse, support trauma, and violence survivors to rebuild their lives by giving access to free and accredited traumatologists, psychologists, life coaches, natural healers.

We focus on a large group of women in the UK who already have left their toxic relationships and support them to never step back there, by providing a wide offer of motivational, empowering, healing, trauma, and coaching programs.

We are a small charity based in Stirling with great hopes to make our world free from violence and abuse behind closed doors.
