As the winter evening settled over the house, a hush of excitement fell across the gathered crowd.
At the centre of it all stood the tall spruce—still dark, still waiting, but already full of promise.

A gentle countdown begins, voices rising like a single heartbeat. Five… four… three… two… one…

With a soft click and a burst of brilliance, the tree erupted into color—twinkling lights dancing like stars brought down to earth.
Gasps turned to laughter, and the garden filled with the glow of joy as the lights shimmered.
For a moment, everything felt still, peaceful, and full of wonder.

And just like that, our Christmas season had begun—wrapped in light, lifted by hope, and shared with everyone gathered beneath the sparkling tree.

I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who came and supported us with our Christmas Light Switch on tonight.

A massive shout out to the staff today, who helped pull everything together, you were all fab-u-Lous and I appreciate all that you do.
