With our mobile MRI scanner we have appointments available on Mondays and Tuesdays for patients who require MRI appointments, allowing our patients to have quicker scan times.

Please note, a referral from a GP or consultant is required.

Registered Nurse Pre Assessment vacancy!

At Kings Park Hospital we are looking for a Registered Nurse Pre Assessment to come and join our team. Duties of the role will include:

• To deliver direct nursing care in line with patient care plans and clinical protocols
• To assess patient needs, prioritise care, and update care plans accordingly
• To monitor vital signs, recognise changes in condition, and escalate appropriately using clinical judgement

Those applying for the role should be a Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration, demonstrable experience working in a clinical healthcare setting and have a good understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, and evidence-based practice.

Pharmacy Technician vacancy!

At Kings Park Hospital we are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to come and join our team. Duties of the role will include:

• To dispense and prepare medicines accurately in accordance with prescriptions and legal requirements
• To participate in ward-based activities, including stock top-ups, medicines reconciliation, and patient counselling (within scope)
• To supply medications to wards, theatres, and outpatient departments, ensuring safe and timely distribution

Those applying for the role should be a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), have NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Pharmacy Service Skills (or equivalent qualification) and experience working in a hospital or healthcare pharmacy setting.

The British Society for Immunology Clinical Immunology Professional Network (BSI-CIPN) have published their report outlining the critical need for immunology and allergy services.

BSI-CIPN advises the immunology and allergy service demand is raising on average by 11% year-on-year. Their report outlined Scotland has one Consultant per 2.05 million people meaning Scottish Consultants are supporting a population 5 times the size that is recommended to meet clinical needs (BSI-CIPN, 2025).

We understand immunology and allergy services provides vital care for patients. At Kings Park Hospital, Prof Euan Cameron, Consultant Respiratory Physician, provides care in all areas of respiratory disease and has subspecialist interests in pleural disease and asthma.

Prof Cameron's clinical interests include:
