WHAT IS RESTORATIVE YOGA??
Restorative is the most passive form of yoga, designed for stress reduction and releasing built up tension in the body and mind.
We take traditional poses, such as butterfly but use a number of props to help support the poses - taking away all the tension. We stay in the asanas longer (between 5-12 mins) to create a deep and meditative state.
I use blissful backing music to allow you to switch off your mind and relax. This is a fully guided practice, with all equipment provided.
Suitable for complete beginners and practiced yogis alike.
Restorative is often used to aid recovery as it is accessible for all bodies. You should feel comfortable enough that you could actually fall asleep in the poses.
I specifically chose the sessions to be at the end of the week and at the beginning of the evening to allow you to release wha you’ve been carrying during the week. Hit the reset button and allow yourself to have a lovely chilled weekend.
