A surprise sweet treat arrived earlier in the week... our thanks to who donated these bonny biscuits, chocolate chip cookies and the cutest cupcakes we've seen for a while! They were served with a hot drink, disappearing quickly, leaving no crumbs behind but plenty of residents' smiles😊

Our cafe space was closed today for re-flooring but rather than close for the day, we packed up our trolley and rolled the cafe around all the flats. Marvelous milkshakes and frothy cappuccinos were the order of the day and there were viewing seats available for anyone interested in the work going on. In true William Simpsons Care Home style we turned a day of disruption into an opportunity for choice, a chance for conversation and a day to be enjoyed.
