Our cafe space was closed today for re-flooring but rather than close for the day, we packed up our trolley and rolled the cafe around all the flats. Marvelous milkshakes and frothy cappuccinos were the order of the day and there were viewing seats available for anyone interested in the work going on. In true William Simpsons Care Home style we turned a day of disruption into an opportunity for choice, a chance for conversation and a day to be enjoyed.

Our rolling refurbishment of William Simpsons Care Home is currently focusing on Flat 9, the standalone Victorian Villa which offers residents a more independent, supported living experience.

As we are already, fully safety compliant in all areas of the Home but the focus of these renovations is to modernise the interior of Flat 9 and to enhance the ambience, making it more attractive, comfortable and homely for residents. The work is going and we’ll share further updates once it’s all finished.
