Last week, we met parents and carers of P6-S2 pupils at Balfron High School to chat all things mental health and social media - the good, the bad and how to guide young people safely 💛

We shared some practical tips, tools and conversation starters to help build confidence when navigating social media at home, and our team were on-hand to answer any questions that parents and carers had.

Huge thanks to Balfron High School for having us along as part of our ongoing collaboration - alongside sessions like this, we’ve also been running monthly drop-in sessions for pupils, offering a safe, informal space to chat, get support, or simply take a breather during the school day. Jane & Jason visited the school this week and as always their drop-in was extremely busy, with more and more young people coming along for support each month.

If you’d like Back Onside to deliver a session like this at your school, workplace or community group - get in touch now by emailing info@backonside.com. We’d love to help!

Today is World Single Parent Day.

We’re taking this opportunity to recognise the strength, resilience and care that single parents show every day. Parenting is never easy, and doing it on your own can come with its own challenges, so today is a little reminder of how strong you are 💪🏽

Send this to a single parent who deserves to be celebrated 💛
