Join Back Onside for a relaxed Walk & Talk in Stirling📍

We’re so excited to announce that we are launching our walking group on Wednesday 29th April in Stirling!

This laid back group is a chance to get outside, enjoy some fresh air and have a chat with others in a friendly, supportive environment. It’s a great opportunity to connect and take a bit of time for your wellbeing.

We’re bringing our group support services to Rugby Park - with a monthly drop-in at Killie Community Hub starting on Wednesday 22nd April.

Hosted by Back Onside’s mental health professionals, the evening is for anyone aged 16+ who wants to open up, connect with others, or just listen in a relaxed, supportive space.

The evening runs from 6:30 - 7:30pm and refreshments will be provided. If you have any questions about our group support drop-in, please get in touch - we’re happy to help.

If you missed a spot in the now SOLD OUT Glagsow Kiltwalk, this is your chance to take part in a Kiltwalk for Back Onside in 2026🙌🏽

The Aberdeen Kiltwalk takes place on Sunday 7th June, starting at Bellfield Park, and Back Onside’s Libby and Michelle will be walking the Mighty Stride from 10am - if there’s enough interest, we’ll also be organising transport for the whole team to travel together.

BACK ONSIDE’S PADEL TOURNAMENT 🎾

We are so excited to be hosting our first ever padel tournament at the BRAND NEW Racket Barn in Glasgow. Taking place on Thursday 4th June, raising vital funds for Back Onside’s mental health services.

Entry is £50 per person - and includes arrival coffees and pastries and a day filled with padel, music, and fundraising. It’s a mixed tournament - open to male and female players over 16.

We’re bringing a little bit of chaos to Drymen this May, with a Faulty Towers Dining Experience at the Buchanan Arms Hotel 🛎️

Basil, Manuel and Sybil are in town - and they’re bringing a healthy dose of mayhem to your door. Fully immersive, highly interactive and completely original, this is the show where anything can happen and usually does - and with 70% of the show improvised, it’s never the same twice!

On Wednesday night we launched our book club - welcoming people in the local community to a cosy, welcoming space to chat, read and meet new people.

It was a lovely evening, and we can’t wait for the next one! Huge thanks to the Book Nook team for having us.

Back Onside’s charitable purposes of the SCIO ("the Charitable Purposes") are: the relief of those in need by reasons of mental health issues, disabilities or those facing challenging life circumstances. In furtherance, the SCIO shall: provide support to those people who have experienced, or are currently experiencing mental health issues, have a disability or are facing challenging life circumstances; provide and promote opportunities in sport and physical activity, music, drama and other activities to help aid the recovery of people experiencing mental health issues, have a disability or are facing challenging life circumstances and encourage individuals to move their lives forward in a positive direction; promote the preservation of mental health through peer-support and the sharing of information and participation of activities that encourages good health and well-being; promote an understanding of social issues, mental health issues or disabilities in the wider community thus raising awareness and reduce discrimination and stigma attached to those areas. the advancement of education through the provision of programmes, workshops and class-room based support that teaches healthy educational activities, promotes self-confidence, raises the self-esteem and aspirations and unlocks the potential of the participants
