It’s that time of year - where reflect upon the outgoing year and look forward to the incoming one. What do you want your year to look like? What do you want to achieve this year?

READ THIS........

Your hormones change throughout your menstrual cycle and woman can suffer many side effects whilst others suffer none!

I’ve generalised a bit here based on things I’ve noticed & had reported from my female clients

Estrogen - or the first half of the cycle tends to make training and dieting easier, less cravings, better recovery, better mood

Progesterone in the second half of the cycle basically does the opposite making training way harder, cravings increase, bloating and bodyweight increases and mood can be affected

It may be worth adjusting your training and nutrition to suit your cycle and associated side affects = better progress in the long run
