ADHD and social media consistency don't clash because your lazy or unmotivated, it's the perfectionism and the constant pull toward something more exciting that's got you stuck in freeze mode.

You’re running on empty, trying to fill your child’s cup whilst yours feels like it has holes in it.

You’re working so hard to regulate them, whilst holding your own overwhelming emotions.

You’re advocating constantly—fighting for understanding, support, and fairness—whilst feeling the same rage and injustice they feel.

You’re not behind.
You’re not lazy.
You’re not “doing it wrong.”

ADHD doesn’t need pressure — it needs permission.
Permission to go slower.
Permission to do less.
Permission to build a life that actually works with your nervous system.

This year doesn’t need a glow-up.
It needs support, softness, and systems.

Save this for the days your brain feels too loud.

If my brain could actually do all the things it thinks about doing at 2am…
I’d be the most organised person on the planet.

But here I am:
• Mentally planning 47 tasks
• Emotionally processing 94 things
• Physically… sitting completely still like a buffering laptop

The life of an ADHD’er is basically trying to function with a brain that’s in overdrive, a body that’s in standby, and a to-do list that’s in denial.

AND NO, WERE NOT LAZY..
No, we’re not unmotivated.
We’re just running a whole entire internal operating system… without the correct charger.

If this is your daily life:
✨ You’re not broken
✨ You’re not behind
✨ Your brain isn’t “the problem” — it’s overloaded

And you deserve support that actually understands that. 💛

Tag an ADHD friend who’s also mentally doing everything while physically doing absolutely none of it.
We’re in this together. 🤝

We’ve got to stop trying to “fix the flower”…
because spoiler alert: the flower was never the problem. 🌼

If a plant isn’t thriving, we don’t sit it down for a lecture about trying harder — we check the light, the soil, the watering schedule… maybe even the pot it’s stuck in.

But with people?
We’re so quick to say “What’s wrong with me?” instead of “Hang on… is this environment even designed for me?”

We’re all wired differently.
Some of us need quiet.
Some need movement.
Some need three snacks and a nap to function (hi, it’s me 👋).

You’re not broken — you’ve just been trying to bloom in an environment that wasn’t built with your needs in mind.
Change the environment… and suddenly growth feels possible again. 🌱

If you want someone who genuinely gets neurodivergence, won’t judge your quirks, and fully supports snack-based coping strategies — I’m your person.
