My lovely client’s lip blush transformation — before (top) and after (bottom)
My client last had lip blush back in 2021, and as you can see in the top photo, the previous colour had healed extremely soft. What’s left behind is a very pale tone with a hint of titanium dioxide, which is the lighter component in some older lip pigments. Over time, this can show through the skin as a slightly whitish or muted cast.
When titanium dioxide remains in the lips, it can make new lip blush a little trickier. That’s because the lighter particles sit in the skin for a long time, and they can “push through” the new colour, making it harder to achieve even saturation and a brighter result in one session.
Despite that, this enhancement turned out beautifully. The fresh colour has brought warmth, definition, and balance back to her lips while still keeping things soft and natural. A lovely refresh that complements her features perfectly.
