Stay Well This Winter ❄️

As the colder months arrive, it’s important to look after your health and wellbeing. Here are some simple ways to stay well this winter:

💉 Get your flu and COVID-19 vaccinations – They’re the best protection against serious illness. If you’re eligible, book yours today.

🏠 Keep warm – Heat your home to at least 18°C, especially if you have a health condition, are over 65, or have young children.

🧼 Stop the spread – Wash your hands regularly and catch coughs and sneezes in a tissue to help prevent the spread of germs.

🍎 Eat well and stay active – A balanced diet and gentle exercise can boost your immune system and mood.

💊 Be prepared – Keep a well-stocked medicine cabinet and order repeat prescriptions in plenty of time.

🤒 Know where to get help –

-Visit your local pharmacy for advice on minor illnesses.
-Use NHS 111 online or call 111 for urgent health concerns.
-Only use A&E or 999 for life-threatening emergencies.

Let’s keep our community healthy and well this winter! 💙
