Are you experiencing pain on the outer side of your elbow? Does it hurt to grip, lift, or twist objects? You might be dealing with tennis elbow!
Weβve had several patients this week visit for tennis elbow, and as someone who has recently recovered from it myself, I understand how frustrating it can be.
Hereβs some advice for what you can do at home:
β Rest and Activity Modification: Avoid activities that worsen the pain and stick to light activities.
β Stretching and Strengthening Exercises: Maintain mobility and strength in your arm with gentle exercises. Want some tailored exercises? Send us a message!
β Bracing: A tennis elbow clasp can be helpful for some.
β Regular Breaks: Take frequent breaks during activities that involve repetitive arm movements.
β Lifting Technique: If you must lift with the affected arm, do so with your palm facing up to reduce strain on the muscles attaching to the outside of your elbow.
