WorkWell Service – Is your health affecting your ability to work?

The WorkWell Service offers personalised support for people who are:

· Off sick
· Struggling in work due to a health condition
· Looking to return to employment

They can support you with workplace adjustments, confidence building, training opportunities and connecting you to local services.

If you’re aged 18+ and registered with a Stockport GP, they may be able to help.

Pain without a clear explanation could be a sign of cancer and the sooner we spot it, the easier it is to treat.

Cancer doesn’t care, but we do. If you have pain that you can’t explain, speak to your GP.

💊 Did you know? You don’t always need to see a GP first!

A pharmacist can provide treatment or even prescription medicine if needed for seven common conditions without an appointment.

You can simply walk in and ask to be seen, pharmacists give excellent advice for many minor ailments.

Our reception staff are a very important member of the team, and it has been agreed that they should ask 'why the need to be seen'.👍
We have trained our reception staff to ask certain questions to help make sure you receive:
- The most appropriate care
- From the most appropriate health professional
-At the most appropriate time

Cancer doesn’t care, but we do. If you have a cough that lasts longer than three weeks, speak to your GP.
