Itโs been a long year 2019, we have met some amazing people along the way! Our students will never look at it like this, however you are our work colleagues. Weโve met some really nice people this year and they have opened their hearts up to us, thank you.
For those who arenโt aware, Manchester First Aid Training was set up by Jo-Anne in 2011. After being trained herself and going through her own personal tragedy she felt she wanted to show others how to save someone, that she did :)
All the confusing subjects have been ripped to bits and put back together to make things simple for those she trains. Now 2020 the business is thriving and better system have been put in place. She started on her own with a diary and 3 Manikins, now over 150 QCPR manikins and lots of training equipment she and her trainers hit the industry hard with hands on fun first aid.
However in 2020, Jo-Anne wants to make workplaces open their eyes up to First Aid for Mental Health. On the course she and the team will be going through how to recognise someone who suffers from mental health conditions and how to manage and control situations and conversations. How to make small changes your work place to avoid potential mental health conditions
