We popped in today for a lovely chat with Lora who hires out her stunning floral tributes to families as an alternative to the cost and waste of natural flowers.

It's wonderful to be able to work with other local businesses in the funeral industry ...to come together for our families... no matter how small the gesture.

80th anniversaries of VJ Day. 15th August 2025.

Some men like my Grandad Joe were part of the `Forgotten Army’ not returning home until December when all the celebrations were over!

Rembering my Grandad Cpl. Joe Kennedy

A much loved Dad, Grandad and great/great Grandad who served in Burma aged just 21 from 1941-45 with the 10th Batallion of Lancashire Fusiliers.

He fought in the first horrific Arakan Campaign alongside the Indian and Gurkha Regiments for whom he always had the utmost respect.

He was treated twice on the field for Malaria and admitted to hospital for several weeks before returning to his Batallion.

If here today he would have been 105. So loved and missed every day. ❤️

Remembering all those who so bravely fought alongside him, not forgetting all those brave men who sadly, never came home. 🙏
