📣 The Diabetes Peer Support Group is on TODAY!

🗓️ Thursday 26th February
📍 John Whitehead Park, Billingham

If you’re living with diabetes, have been recently diagnosed, or just want to learn more, come and join us 🕐 2–4pm. It’s a relaxed, welcoming space to chat, share experiences, and connect with others who understand 💬💙

What do parents need to know about measles?

Measles spreads easily and can make children very poorly.

Look out for:
🤒 High fever
😮‍💨 Cough and runny nose
👀 Sore eyes
🔴 A blotchy rash (usually starts on the face and behind the ears)

If you think your child has measles, keep them at home and call your GP or NHS 111.

The MMRV vaccine is the best way to protect them – check they’re up to date.

It’s a friendly, welcoming, and completely non‑judgemental space where you can share, chat, and connect with others who understand.

• Broken or knocked‑out teeth
• Bleeding gums or mouth injuries
• Painful broken/loose fillings
• Problems with soft tissue in the mouth

You can now book urgent NHS dental appointments by:

Contacting an NHS dentist
Booking an urgent dental access centre
Using 111.nhs.uk or calling 111

The 5–19 team will be joining us to offer support and advice for parents and carers.

👏On Thursday 19th Feb, we joined Pioneering Care Partnership Trustee Melanie Fordham and Michaela from Stockton-on-Tees Public Health to present our amazing SCWC Champion, Matthew from Knock Out Depression , with a Hidden Heroes – Room to Reward recognition.

💚Since Matthew joined the SCWC network, he has supported a project delivered by Pioneering Care Partnership , in many ways from joining our walks, events, and community projects and always bringing positivity, kindness, and a real passion for helping others. We’re so proud of him and grateful to have him as part of our SCWC family.

🦥A huge thank you to Matthew for gifting us a beautiful painting from his collection too. Our new office’s sloth mascot is ready for its new home!
