Meet Simon.
Simon is a Paramedic working on frontline 999 calls, as well as being the Practice Co-Ordinator for our Education team here at HQ. Simon will have been with CIPHER Medical for 7 years in February 2026.
The best bit of the job Simon has said is meeting people from all different walks of life and hearing people's life stories. He joined the industry to care for people, and gets great satisfaction in seeing the benefit that he can bring to patients lives. He says that we have a great team at CIPHER, and he always knows he is going to have a good day at work.
Simon joined CIPHER whilst doing his access course at college, and CIPHER have continuously provided education and employment opportunities ever since. He has gained valuable experience and multiple qualifications throughout his time here and he will remain ever grateful. Joining the organisation was the best decision he has made, and believes that CIPHER has attributes his success to our support (awww).
Simon has said that anyone thining of joining the pre-hospital care: do not doubt yourself and go fo rit. The industry is continuously progressing and offering a variety of opportunities which cater for a broad range of interests. While the roles involve academia, it is mainly about building personal connections with our service users. If you love working with people and helping people - you will be fine!
