This afternoon Katie met up with this lovely lot at The Elm Tree Social Club to plan and organise all the future 2026 dates for our monthly social group. Julie and the team at the Elm Tree were amazing as ever! Always really hospitable with teas, coffees and refreshments for several of the Activity Coordinators from various care homes across the North East. We can’t wait for everyone to see our amazing plans for next year 😊

Dont forget although we started this network as care homes coming together with the Club to start these amazing monthly events the door is always open to the wider community and you don’t have to be a care home resident to attend. Anyone living in the community with or without dementia, maybes feeling lonely or a bit socially isolated or if you just fancy an afternoon out and a change of scenery you are more than welcome to come along and join in.

What goes on?
• No entry fee or charge on the door ❌
• Free teas, coffees and refreshments ☕️
• Live entertainment at every monthly group 🕺
• Free Bingo and quiz ✍️
• Prize raffles (tickets £1 a strip) 🎟️
• Make new friends and remain socially active in a friendly and welcoming environment. 👫
• Dementia friendly and proud 😊
• The bar is also open if you fancy a tipple 🍻

These really are amazing afternoons I know all or residents look forward to each month.

We all look forward to seeing you all in 2026 🥳

✨ Another lovely visit today from DPEarCare! ✨

I had the pleasure of visiting Windsor Court Residential Home in Stockton to see a wonderful lady (a very young 96 years old!) who was struggling with wax in both ears. Windsor Court Residential Home

After a gentle microsuction treatment, the wax was safely removed — and the difference was instant! 👂💫
She could hear clearly again, and her hearing aids stopped whistling, much to the relief of both her and the lovely staff.

What a fantastic, caring home — everyone was welcoming, and it was lovely to spot my DPEarCare poster proudly displayed on the noticeboard. ❤️

Windsor Courts 2025 Christmas Party!
When : Wednesday 17th December 2025
Where : The Elm Tree Social Club
Time : From 1.30pm onwards

Following on from the success of our Summer Party we are super excited to again host our Christmas Party over at The Elm Tree Social Club. We hope you can all join us for our celebrations 💃🏽 🕺 😃

We have the amazing Micky Walter’s coming to perform for us, buffet food, raffles and fun planned as well as the bar being open 🎤 🎶 🥂 🍺

Tickets are priced at £10 per person. We will not be giving out paper tickets this time as we are thinking greener and trying to help save the trees🌲😃
Please ask a member of staff who will be happy to take payment and add you to our list. Please let us know as soon as possible so we can then plan for numbers for catering and transport etc.

Anybody who can come and transport their loved one along for us again we would really appreciate this to help lighten transport loads and time taken etc. Please let staff know 🚗 😃
