The Lung Cancer Screening Mobile Unit is back in Burton!
Quick, painless scans that could save a life – maybe yours. 💙

If you’re aged 55 to 74 and a current or former smoker, you may be eligible for a free lung cancer screening. If you’ve received an invitation or referral for a CT scan, please don’t miss your appointment - early detection is very important.

A message to our patients:

If you are aged 55-74 you will be invited for a lung cancer screening appointment, if you are a current or ex-smoker you will have a lung health check appointment with a specialist respiratory health professional , after the lung health check you may be invited for a CT scan to get a closer look at your lungs.

Thank you to everyone who attended their lung cancer screening in Tamworth!

Since our mobile unit arrived in Tamworth last month, many people have been able to have their CT scans closer to home, and we are pleased to hear that many of you had positive experiences at the mobile unit!

🚐 Please note that the mobile unit is leaving Tamworth tomorrow.

The Lung Cancer Screening Programme is available to individuals aged 55–74 who are current or former smokers.

📍 Our next stop: Burton-on-Trent, we are back again on November 22nd!
