Did you know? Today is National Stress Awareness Day! 💙
Recognising physical signs of stress is important in helping to recover from it.
When we face a stressful situation, the body produces stress hormones. These hormones then trigger a response, fight or flight, as well as activating our immune system, to help us deal with dangerous situations. Sometimes this response is helpful, it can help us push beyond our ‘normal’ capabilities.
However too much stress, too often can cause negative effects, leaving us overwhelmed, and long-term affecting our physical and mental health.
Whether you’re a carer, customer, or loved one - remember to pause, breathe, and find small moments of calm.

We’re delighted to share details of the Repton Memory Singers, a new monthly group offering singing, tea, and cake — completely free to attend. 💛

Open to anyone living with memory loss, along with their families and supporters, this group aims to bring joy, connection, and happy memories through the power of music. 🎶

🎃☕ Halloween Coffee Morning Fun! 👻🕸️

We had an amazing time at our Halloween themed coffee morning today! The room was filled with spooky decorations, and even our office staff joined in the fun dressed as classic ghosts! 👻

There were Halloween treats galore, eerie background music, and a few frightful surprises during our “What’s in the Box?” game (rumour has it there was a skeleton foot in there! 🦶💀).

We played dominoes, shared plenty of laughs, and loved welcoming some new faces to the group.

Even our amazing care staff out in the community got involved, spreading some spooky Halloween cheer with their customers! 🎃🧙‍♀️
