The residents have been creative and did some flower arranging. We also had Musical Moments in where Vicky did a Christmas related session of songs and music which involved all the residents. They really enjoyed the afternoon

Day 2 of our 12 days of Christmas 🎄🎄

Aishwarya was the lucky winner who will receive an amazon gift voucher. She will be on a night shift on friday and will collect then. Well done

The lucky winner was jess who will be on shift on Saturday. She won a lovely sloth cosy pamper gift set and I'm sure she will feel very relaxed . Well done

We have had elf day today and the residents have really enjoyed it. They thought it was very funny seeing all the elves around the home. There was a particularly naughty elf as well who decided to go into Megans office.They have also had a couple of games of bingo and had the afternoon doing the weekly exercise. Last week saw the residents getting into the Christmas spirit making cards and putting decorations up. They had an afternoon singing Xmas songs and having a little dance. We had a film show with a tour round Trentham Gardens looking at the Christmas lights and market. We then went to Uttoxeter Christmas lights all in the comfort of our chairs.

We have looked through the reminiscence box discussing the second world war and looked at WW2 artifacts including a helmet, tinned milk and a gas mask.

We're starting December with something a little fun for our team at The Beeches.

Each day until the 12th one staff member will be randomly chosen to receive a festive treat

We have the pantomime Alice in Wonderland coming to us on Monday 8th December at 1.30pm. Everyone is welcome to join your loved ones to watch the show and afterwards sing some carols to start the run up to the festive season🎄🎄

Last week we saw the residents getting into the Christmas spirit with a Christmas themed sing a long and wearing Christmas hats. We had a little help putting the decorations on the tree. Residents enjoyed the weekly keep fit session and Boo came for a visit which always puts a smile on their faces🎄🎄🐶
