A cancer survivor is welcoming a new clinical trial that could improve long-term outcomes for people with cervical cancer.

Sonia Dancer, from Fair Oak in Hampshire, is now in remission after being diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2019.

This , the mum-of-two is supporting CRAIN – a clinical trial funded by Cancer Research UK.

The trial will add new a drug to the standard treatment for cervical cancer, with researchers hoping it will increase the number of cancer cells that are destroyed.
