A true inspiration Deb ❤️
“About a year ago I put up a post about my deepest, darkest, saddest (and fattest!) time.
I’d just come out of a toxic relationship, my mum had died and try as I’d might, I just couldn’t stick to plan.
Then to make matters worse, my health started to fail, it was no longer about how I looked and felt, this was my LIFE I was wasting and I know if I didn’t make the changes my health outcomes would have not been good.
It took me over a year to lose 80lbs but I stuck at it and I have been happily maintaining for two years now. In June I got married to a wonderful man and next month I turn 55.
Just recently I have seen lots of posts on here about ‘I am this X weight, how much/how long, can I lose Y?’
What I want to say is JUST START. It doesn’t matter how old you are, how heavy you are or how many times you have tried before.
Do it for YOU. Do it for your HEALTH. Do it for the FUTURE YOU you haven’t even met yet.
It doesn’t matter how long it takes, just get going.
You have strengths you don’t realise and there are thousands of fellow dieters cheering you on.
YOU CAN DO THIS!
You only get one life. Make it the best possible one you can.
