We’re excited to be hosting a special Christmas celebration next Wednesday, and we’d love to welcome patients of Mount Road Practice who might enjoy some company, connection, and festive fun.

There will be:

Important announcement

We are constantly trying to improve the service that we deliver to our patients.

We are therefore changing the way you make an appointment with a GP or Nurse Practitioner at Mount Road Practice.

From Wednesday 3rd December all GP and Nurse Practitioner appointment requests will go through a triage system, called total triage.

Total Triage can be accessed by Mount Road Practice patients via our website or using the following link https://accurx.nhs.uk/patient-initiated/m83084

Requests can also be sent via the NHS APP.

Our Reception Team can submit requests, on behalf of patients who are unable to use one of the online platforms to submit their request.

🌟 Knowing the signs and symptoms of Anaemia 🌟
Anaemia happens when your body doesn’t have enough healthy red blood cells to carry oxygen, and it’s more common than you might think!

🩸 Common symptoms include:
🥱 Tiredness or lack of energy.
😵 Dizziness or feeling light-headed.
❄️ Cold hands and feet.
😖 Frequent headaches.
🫁 Shortness of breath, especially during activity.
🫀 Irregular or rapid heartbeat.

If you’re experiencing any of these symptoms and there’s no clear reason why, it’s important to get checked.
