💊Repeat prescriptions help ensure you receive regular medication safely and consistently. Please request your repeat prescription at least 5 working days before you run out to avoid delays.

🌐Ordering online, or via the NHS App is the quickest and safest method, reducing errors and helping free up phone lines. You can do this here: https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-app/account/
📩You can also email your requests to: Prescriptions.M83084@staffs.nhs.uk

❓If you have questions about your medication, experience side effects, or feel it may no longer be helping, please contact the surgery rather than stopping the medication yourself.

Regular medication reviews are important and help make sure your treatment remains safe, effective, and appropriate.

📞Knowing which NHS service to use can help you get the right care faster.
Your GP surgery is best for ongoing health concerns, medication reviews, and non-urgent problems.
Remember to use your surgery's website to contact them, via online consultations if you are able to!

👨‍🔬Use your local pharmacy, for many common, minor illnesses, your local community pharmacy can now provide advice and treatment through the NHS Pharmacy First scheme, without the need for a GP appointment. Trained pharmacists can assess symptoms, offer clinical advice, and in some cases provide NHS treatment or medication where appropriate.
Find your nearest pharmacy here: https://www.nhs.uk/service-search/pharmacy/find-a-pharmacy/

If you need medical advice when the surgery is closed, NHS 111 is available 24/7 online or by phone.
They can advise you on self-care, arrange an out-of-hours GP appointment, or direct you to urgent care if needed.📞

📆Every missed appointment is time that could have been offered to another patient.
When appointments are missed without notice, it increases waiting times and affects patients who need care.

If you can no longer attend your appointment, please let the surgery know as soon as possible, even short notice allows us to reallocate the appointment to another patient who may be waiting for care.
You can cancel quickly via your appointment text message, via the NHS App, or by calling the surgery.

Working together helps us provide a fair and efficient service for all patients.💙

🤒👶 Worried About Your Child’s Cough?
Hearing your little one cough is never nice, but in most cases, their cough will get better on its own, without antibiotics.

Here’s how you can help your child recover at home:
✅ Keep them hydrated and rested.
✅ Use paracetamol or ibuprofen if needed for discomfort or fever.
✅ Keep the air moist and warm, and encourage gentle activity if they feel up to it.
✅ Monitor their symptoms carefully.

⚠️ Seek medical help if:
• The cough lasts longer than 3 weeks.
• Your child is struggling to breathe.
• They have a high fever or appear very unwell.

🧘‍♀️Mental health is just as important as physical health, and support is available through your GP surgery and our PCN.
Many people experience anxiety, low mood, stress, or sleep problems at some point, and help is available.

❤We are lucky to have two dedicated Mental Health Practitioners within our PCN:
• Jayne, supporting children and young adults up to 25 years old.
• Emily, supporting adults aged 26–65.

Our mental health practitioners can offer assessments, advice, support, and help signpost patients to further care where needed.

🩷Patients can also access and self refer to NHS Talking Therapies, which provide psychological support for common mental health problems such as anxiety and depression.
This service can often be accessed directly without a GP referral here: https://www.nhs.uk/tests-and-treatments/talking-therapies/
