🌟 Patient of the Week 🌟️
This week's Patient of the Week is Laura!
Laura first came to see us after being referred by her dad, Michael, who we’d previously helped (thanks, Michael! 😊). She’d been struggling with pain in both arms — especially on the right side, where the pain travelled all the way down to her wrist. ☹️
The discomfort was constant — sometimes a dull ache, other times a sharp, shooting pain which had been getting worse over time. Rest didn’t seem to make a difference, and even simple movements became difficult such as driving, going to the gym, or picking things up. 🫠
Understandably, Laura also felt anxious, unsure of what movements might make things worse. 😬 After a thorough consultation to understand the full extent of the problem, followed by a report of findings where we discussed exactly what was going on, what she could and couldn’t do safely, and how we were going to help, Laura felt confidence and peace of mind moving forward with her care. 💪🏼
Over the following weeks, Laura’s range of motion improved dramatically. Now, those day-to-day struggles with her shoulders are a distant memory and she’s back to living life without restriction! 🥳
